Frequently asked questions

Everything you usually ask before your first visit.

Techniques What types of oriental massages do you offer?

We offer traditional oriental massages tailored to each person's needs: Shiatsu, Chi Nei Tsang (oriental visceral massage), Thai massage, and foot reflexology. Every session is personalized and takes place in a private, quiet studio in Madrid.

Location Where is the studio located?

The studio is located at Calle Sisebuto 2, Puerta del Ángel, Madrid (view on Google Maps), with excellent metro access (lines 6 and 10), bus routes (31, 33, 36, 39, 65, 158), and parking nearby.

Booking How do I book a session?

Sessions are by appointment only, which you can easily book via WhatsApp at +34 644 87 06 67 or through tidycal.com/ikigaishiatsu. There's no charge to book, but if you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance — otherwise, a penalty fee of 15€ will be charged on your next session. Payments are made in cash.

Packages Do you offer session packages, and how do they work?

Yes, we offer session packages to help maintain treatment continuity. We view Shiatsu and oriental therapies as a progressive treatment process: for general maintenance and stress prevention, we recommend one session per month. If we are working on a specific issue or symptom, weekly or bi-weekly sessions are ideal. Session packages allow you to maintain the necessary consistency at a more advantageous rate.

Preparation Do I need to bring special clothing or prepare in any way?

You don't need to bring anything. Comfortable, loose-fitting cotton clothing is provided for your convenience and comfort.

Benefits Are oriental massages effective for relieving stress and muscle pain?

Yes, they're especially effective. Each technique is designed to release tension built up in the back, neck, abdomen, and limbs. They also bring on a state of deep relaxation that helps combat urban stress and mental fatigue.
